    Does a teacher have an affect or effect on a student?

    A teacher can affect a student

    hmmm....think so...these two are always challenging..

    A teacher who has a good effect on a pupil will affect the pupil's future.

    "Effect" [noun] = the result of a particular influence

    "Affect" [verb] = to have an influence on someone or something, or to cause them to change
