    Default Far Usages

    Hi Group,

What does it mean "far behind" "far beyond" "question so far" and "far better" but instead of using far better can I use the word "way better or by far" Ex. "I liked the movie by far" This is a right or wrong application of the word far better instead of by far or way better?

    Thanks in advance,
    Antonio.

    You could say :
I liked this movie far better than the one with saw last week.
    I prefered it by far.
The movie we saw last last week was a far cry from this one.
It was way better than the junk we saw last week.

As it is, your sentence is not good.
