Are you asking if one is accountable for one's life?

uncountable means unable to be counted or measured.

Uncountable suffering happens during in wars.

    Hi,
No, I'm asking whether life is an countable noun or not.
However, can we say: Our life?

You can say "our life" if you refer to a group of people's life style e.g. Our life in this country is simple.

Use "Our lives" like in this example: "We won't risk our lives because of that"

    Re: Life vs Lives

Life is used as an uncountable when you are referring to the concept of living.

Life is not worth living if you have no money.
Where can we move to in order to have a good life?
