    I found this for you:

    jump through hoops
    to do a lot of extra things so you can have or do something you want. The company is jumping through hoops these days to try to please advertisers

    "To jump through hoops" comes from the days when animals [often the large cats] were trained to jump through hoops in the circus ring. The expression is used to describe having to do something difficult or complicated to get what you want.

    "in a bubble" = cut off from reality - as if enclosed within a bubble preventing the person or organisation touching reality.
