I need help... please share your ideas...

    Hi friends,
I have an assignment for Wednesday and I have to find some information about the proverb "there is more than one way to kill a cat".
What does it refer to, the origin of it, and when and why people use this proverb?

I'll be glad if you help me
    thanks for your help

The phrase is a modification of 'more than one way to skin a cat'.

Various American authors have used the saying to mean that there is more than one way of doing the same action.
