Next week, year, Sunday or THE Next week, year, Sunday?

    Hello.

If we are now, for example, on Wednesday, and we want to refer to the following seven days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday), it is correct to say:

    - (today is Wednesday) I will see you THE NEXT WEEK.(?)

And if we are on Wednesday and we want to refer to the following next week (Monday,Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday), it is correct to say:

    - (today is Wednesday) I will see you NEXT WEEK.(?)

    Thanks.

    Jesus

    Hi Jesus.

For this situation, referring to the next seven days, we'd say,

I'll see you within a week/seven days. OR I'll see you sometime during the next week/seven days.

And if we are on Wednesday and we want to refer to the following next week (Monday,Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday), it is correct to say:

    - (today is Wednesday) I will see you NEXT WEEK.(?)

    Thanks.

    Jesus
I'll see you [sometime] next week.
