    names and adjectives

    Hi there,

I wonder if someone could help me, can the following names be followed by these adjectives?
    harsh storm
    freezing wind
    hard rain
    lighting storm
    intense rain

    Is this sentence right?

    "I don't want you talking"

    Thanks!

Do you perhaps mean "Can the following nouns follow these adjectives"?

    harsh storm
    freezing wind
    hard rain
lightning storm electric storm is a recognized collocation.
    intense rain

    Is this sentence right?

    "I don't want you talking"

    Certainly colloquial and understandable.

    Thanks!
