    Please parse this sentence

    She thinks of them as scenes because they're much too fragmentary to be stories and far too immediate to be memories.

    Thanks,

    Donna

    Re: Please parse this sentence

    I have briefly parsed your sentence . I hope it'll be sufficient:

    NP(pr)+ PV->( V+ PP+pr) + PP(N) ) + Reason Clause ->( NP(pr) +V
    She thinks of them as scenes because they are

    deter submod+adj+TOinfinite-clause + adv+submod+adj+to-infinite cl
    much too frag to be stories and far too imme to be mem.

    Re: Please parse this sentence

    I don't know what all the acronyms mean and I can't seem to find them on the web. Are they linguistic terms? I've seen these terms used before in parsing, and I'd like to know what they mean. Do you know of any websites that define/explain these acronyms?

    Thanks,

    Donna
