    draw or come to conclusions?

    hi,

is this expression the best one to express this idea? can it be used in formal and informal situations? what about "to come to conclusions"?

it's important to learn how to draw conclusions from what we read.
I have drawn important conclusions after studying the problem closely.
after reasoning a lot, I came to a few conclusions.

    thanks.

Re: draw or come to conclusions?

    hi,
i mean the idea of finding or elaborating a conclusion from something that we experience.
for example, after learning about the huge number of people that die every year from lung cancer caused by smoking, i concluded that smoking is dangerous and is not worth it.
did i drew some conclusions about tobacco?
did i came to some conclusions about tobacco?
    thanks.

I drew some conclusions about the dangers of smoking AND I came to some conclusions about the dangers of smoking are both correct usages.
