Default Information and Commucation Technology

Please check my essay writing. It's about the development of ICT.

If you don't mind.

Thanks.

The word IT and ICT has a different meaning but itís still related with each other, where IT stands for Informatics technology and ICT stands for Information and communication technology. IT is defined as the technological applications of informatics in society. And ICT is defined as the combination of informatics technology with other, related technologies, specifically communication technology.
Informatics technology deals with the programs in the computer. It studies the working principal of the programs and if possible, creating a new program for other purposes. In ICT, it focuses more on telecommunication technologies such as television networking, satellites, internet, and so on.
In the mean time, ICTs has rapidly developed in the world. Many countries around the world have established organizations for the promotion of ICTs. Access to information and communication technologies continues to grow at high speed and the digital divide, in terms of mobile subscribers, fixed telephone lines and internet users, keeps getting smaller.
ICT helps a lot in sectors like transports, urban and rural development, health, education, environment, businesses, etc. ICT applications are useful in facilitating development programs in many countries. These technologies help in supporting economic and social developments. In rural communities, it facilitates economic empowerment. Mobile telephony can also help rural entrepreneurs in keeping in touch with their market outside their communities. In the transport sector, ICT applications can be used to improve road, air and rail transportation. In fact, it controls and monitors the day-to-day transport system. In the health sector, ICT applicants are becoming valuable resources in the medical field. They support efficient exchange of information between health professionals, they enable transfer of patient records between sites and they can improve clinical effectiveness, continuity, and the quality of care by health professionals. In business sector, it really helps the production and the development of the technologies. It may help the efficiency of using the machines to produce the goods and improving the technologies to be better.
In conclusion, I think ICT really helps a lot in many sectors such as transports, education, businesses, health, environment, and so on. The development is still developing and continuing developed. Hopefully, in the future, the technology would improve rapidly and can be very useful to the society.
