    Very generally speaking, the heart refers to emotion, the mind refers to intellect, and the soul refers to spirituality.

    In your sentence, "Country music reflects the hearts and minds and soul of American people," the word soul should also be a plural. "Country music reflects the hearts and minds and souls of American people."
