Default why should you cook and he..

    Which are correct:

1-Why should you cook and he wash the dishes?
2-Why should you cook while he washes the dishes?
3-Why should you cook when he washes the dishes?
4-Why should you cook as he washes the dishes?

I think 4 implies that the two actions are happening simultaneously, but do 3 and 2 have the same implication? Could they be used if the dish-washing takes place after the cooking (as it normally does)?

Is 1 correct as it is?

    Simultaneous actions.

2-Why should you cook while he washes the dishes?
Could be simultaneous or could mean "you cook but he washes"

3-Why should you cook when he washes the dishes? Implies you do not cook until he washes the dishes

4-Why should you cook as he washes the dishes?
Could be simultaneous action or could mean "you cook because he washes"

All are correct - which to use will be governed by the context of the situation.
