    help with cv; cover letter

    it's long but hope you read through the end - Your kind assistance will be much appreciated

    cv - is it necessary to put exact dates or just months and years?
    cover letter at the bottom - is it catchy?

    The position entailed selling of properties within Relais Hotels portfolio mainly to government and corporate companies through direct, cold calling; also conducted site inspections to add awareness and familiarity on the different products in Cape Town.

    Travel Consultant: Akilanga Destination Management
    Contract Position for six months – thereafter permanent
    Responsible for all aspects of travel from Italy; Individual travel, Groups and incentives; educational trips by Italian tour operators represented by Akilanga

    Reservations/ Sales Agent: Gametrackers
    Permanent position – I was responsible for the reservations department for all lodges owned by Gametrackers: Dugong Lodge, Nyati Lodge in Mozambique, and Jackalberry Lodge in Thorny Bush – Mpumalanga.
    I was also Manager on call 24 hours daily.

    Senior Reservations Consultant: CC Africa
    Permanent Position: responsible for all aspects pertaining to travel for our USA market (travel in East Africa, namely Tanzania, Kenya, Southern Africa). Reservations for accommodation, car-hire, flights and site seeing. I was responsible for coordination of travel requirements for various markets and their specific needs.

    Assisting with all aspects pertaining to travel, i.e. Prepared accurate itemized billings and creative itineraries according to clients’ brief and budget.     Supervision of chauffeur drivers and porters; worked as concierge for the hotel

    Maintained individual files by booking and confirming all travel arrangements as required by agents and clients.
