I'd like to know whether we can say "play computer" or on the computer?
please tell me what sounds right to you or what's correct.

Default Re: play computer or on the computer

Definitely "on the computer". My wife is always telling me to stop playing on the computer, or to get off the computer." I'm not a teacher, but I think that "on" would be normal for most variants of English in this context.
