    Hi

I just got a glance on what you corrected them and It seems there is no mistake to be pointed out except a minor that being at the ultimate answer. I think its correct answer is "She and I are ..." that just has been written down inversely even though I couldn't get what you typed about.

    Thank you!

I think BETWEEN only used to be as a comparison or a connection word of TWO things or people!

"Among" is the best choice that got to be choosen above.

    Thank you!

Actually, "between" is also acceptable. You can look it up in a good dictionary (say Collins Cobuild or Longman dictionary of contemporary English).

This is what the Longman says: "between (6) used to show the fact that something is divided or shared among several people, places or things: Tom divided his money between his three children..."

This is what the Collins Cobuild says: "between (9) when something is divided or shared between people, they each have a share of it: His company was bought by Hogg Robinson for 3.5m, divided between five partners... There is only one bathroom shared between eight bedrooms."

But as far as my knowledge is concerned between is used when there are only two persons.I mean to say that if there are only two subjects.for example:
1.divide the books between the two brothers
2.divide the books among the three(or more than two) brothers

I have one more doubt. You said that wants or wanted can be used in the sentence-He said that he wants more ice cream, depending on the context. Please explain to me what are those contexts.

It made me to go after some references so that it wouldn't be precisely as you've looked it up or completely corresponding to significance of sharing!

Only we can use "Between" as a connecting word of many things numbered more than 2 (three,...) when the entities are seen as determining the limits or endpoints of a range. For instance, They searched the area between the river, the farmhouse, and the woods. The truck driver had obviously been drinking between stops.

Just to remind that it's used for People only when the speaker means they are located at the borders of a lineup or rank! E.g. Evidently, the man lost his wallet in a place between people had mustered for the movie!

    Thank you!
