    Clam

    Hi, clam as in the following sentence "the clam bar at the parking lot", could it be syn of cheap?

    There are clam and oyster bars (restaurants) all over the US. But "at the parking lot" does not fit.

    Do you mean the parking lot at the clam bar, as in "Meet me in the parking lot at the clam bar?"

    No, the sentence is precisely as I wrote. (context: someone bought donuts and a pint of showder from the clam bar at the parking lot)
    I don't think it refers to a clam restaurant, it doesn't fit as you say, I think it may allude a cheap bar. Do you think it's possible?

    My dear fellow, if someone bought a pint of chowder (note correct spelling) from a clam bar, then clam could only mean one thing: an edible bivalve mollusk.

    Maybe "The Parking Lot" is the name of a restaurant or store
