    Question adjectives-- naming

is there a specific name for, or naming convention for word ordered adjectives?

    i.e. good better best
    big bigger biggest
    small medium large

is there a book or website that has a list of progressive, gradual sequences like the ones listed above?

    Re: adjectives-- naming

I'm not a teacher, but I often see these terms called "comparatives" or "superlatives".
