    WHERE DO WE USE "HAD"?
    PLEASE EXPLAIN IT WITH EXAMPLES.

    The word had is the past tense of have. It is also used as an auxiliary verb.

    Examples:

    I had a good holiday. ( as a past tense)
    I hadn't been to London before. ( as an auxiliary verb)
