    Default A question on the order of a row of persons

    I would like to ask what the proper article and preposition are in the following phrase.

    "Middle row: (the/zero article)third on/from/to the left"

    Thanks for advice.

    Here are some examples. There could be others.

    A: Who do you mean?

    B: The person in the third row, second/third/fourth from the right/left.

    B: In the third row, the second/third/fourth one/person from the right/left.
