    small question

    * I will come on today. Can I use "on" to emphasis today?
    * At the earlier time, I had gone to my friend's company.
Can I use "At the earlier time" to express an uncertain time that
something had happened not long ago?

They both sound weird to me. I don't believe they're correct.
