For and against exploring space and visiting other planets?

Do you have any really interesting ideas for this topic in points "for" AND "against"?
    Thanks in advance!

How about you? What would be your concerns about inter-galactic travel?

Don't you think, that I write for the help because of the lack of ideas?

If you have lots of ideas, then I wonder why you need to ask.

    However -

How about the cost of space travel, the value of employment of those involved in space travel, the lack of purpose in space travel, the excitement of new discoveries, the side benefits from the research into materials to use in constructing rockets, the possible physical and psychological effects = a little work is needed on the net, it seems to me.
