    Conjunction: AND

    Hello there,

I'd like to ask how to connect these pairs of sentences with and.

1- Maria is 19 years old.
    Maria is from Brazil.

    2-Salma is Married.
    Salma is a student.

2-Salma is Married and a student.

    Is it that easy?

To me personally, it doesn't look good to write like that. I'd rather rewrite it as:

Salma is a student and she is married.
    or without and used:
    Salma is a married student.

    As for the first sentence:

Maria is 19 years old and she is from Brazil.
    or without using and :
    Maria is a nineteen-year-old Brazilian.

    Yes

It can be as simple as that or more complex as Emgee showed.
