    corner opposite / opposite corner

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough tell me whther there is some difference between the following two sentences?

The inn is on the corner opposite from the movie theater.
The inn is on the opposite corner from the movie theater.

Thank you in advance for your efforts.

    Regards.

    V.

But the basic concept is the same: the inn is on one side of the street (on a corner) and the cinema/movie theatre is on the other.
