    common

On the evening of Monday, all the students of a class decided that they shoud come in full suit to the class the next day. (please also help me in punctuation)

How can I describe such a decision? :( what about the following ways)
    They unitedly decided to...
They made a common decision to...
    They made a combined decision...

    Re: common

'made a unanimous decision' if everybody in the class agreed, rather than a majority vote carrying the day.

Thanks for the correction, David. This is always a pitfall for us non-native speakers.
