"Today, many U.S. banks for months now have been turning away Main Street small-business and consumer borrowers with adequate collateral and excellent credit ratings. "What me worry?" among bankers has given way to extreme risk-aversion that threatens to exacerbate the problem of anaemic job creation and household-income growth, and that feeds back as lower stimulus to the economy."
this is a literal excerpt from a today's newspaper. I wonder if the bold text is correct, please. does it mean "what am I worried about?"? it doesn't seem to be grammatically correct and I wonder if it's a popular expression.
