Exclamation "studying hours" or "study hours"

Could a friend help me with it, please?

Should I use "studying hours" or "study hours"?

    Thank you, guys!

    Dani.

Perhaps - perhaps - 'study hours' but it would help if you give the full sentence, because I think you might mean 'study time'.

Successful students have completed a planned programme of studies involving at least 500 study hours by which they have achieved a level of attainment appropriate for admission to higher education.

The judge, a Jockey Club member, said they had reached their conclusion after studying hours of video tape of the race.
