    Default antecedent of attributive clause

    Hi, everyone.

    Please see the following sentence:
I know of a place on that mountain where we can find this kind of plant.

Is this sentence ambiguous? Which is the antecedent, place or mountain?
This kind of questions have confused me for a long time, when both reading and writing. Could you give me some detailed advice?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi enydia

The sentence isn't ambiguous. Both on that mounatin and where we can find this kind of plant modify the noun place:
Ex: I know of a place on that mountain where we can find this kind of plant.
You can test it by deleting on that mountain:
Ex: I know of a place where we can find this kind of plant.

    Thank you, Soup

If I want to make mountain the antecedent, how to reword the sentence?
