    Giving someone the eye

    Hello again,

    What does "giving someone the eye" means in the following sentence:

    I started giving the three witches at the next table the eye again. That is, the blonde one.

    Does it mean looking at someone you find attractive or just looking at someone?

    it means looking at someone, esp. in an admiring or inviting way
