    last laugh

Has anyone read Reader's Digest ,the most recent issue?

There's a cartoon drawing on the last page, titled: "last laugh".

I'm trying to understand the joke.

What does 'last laugh' mean? Is it common usage?

    Thanks

    Re: last laugh

Is it the last page of the April 2008 issue?

    Last Laugh
a caricature or satirical picture of nondescript man/ patient in the doctor's office: his skin is snow-white, his head is looking upward, his hair is part of his beard, his stomach is located at his left arm.... and then remarked; " There's nothing wrong with you--you're a Piccasso."

    Re: last laugh

    Hi soup.

    Sorry, I mislead you.

"Last laugh" is the joke on the last page.

The one I'm reading is the issue of June , 2008.

There's a lawn. A hand comes out of the lawn.
There's a sign, "BEWARE OF THE LAWN"

There's a baseball on the lawn by the hand.

Scene: a house, trees. In short, it's a front yard of a house.

    Thanks for the reply.
