    Metro

Hi, I saw the word, Metro, while reading the news on ShanghaiDaily website, and I really do not know how to understand it as an item name, does it mean the news happened in the city? could you give me some comments about it, thank!

"Metro" is often used as an abbreviation when referring to a metropolitan area. The 'Metro' section of a newspaper would contain local news from the communities surrounding a large city or metropolitan area.

I have just seen you have edited your post.
    Now, the question looks different.

Anyway, why don't you give us the context so we don't have to be beating around the bush?
    Thank you.

    Thanks, both two.
I just a beginner here, sometimes, I can not express my questions well, so I need to edit it several times.
    Sorry for it.

Well DON'T! (Never change the original message/question). Rather add the necessary additional info in another post.

Don't you think your reply to wuwei is a little harsh, meez?

The 'edit' button is a tool that should be used to correct errors. Telling someone to never use it does not do much to help them become more proficient with their English.

    Cheers,
    Amigo
