    what is the meaning of the idiom "Play carom on the ground floor"?

    carom is a shot in billiards in which the cue ball contacts one object ball and then the other.

    Hi,
    I don't know this idiom. Having lived in India, I think that it must be something in Indian English because of the reference to the game of Carom, which I have played in India.
