    not a teacher

I have tendered my resignation. I have not received my salary yet but I would like to request for an advance (payment) to settle my medical bills.

If you have not received your final paycheck and money is due to you, then simply request that it be sent immediately.

You do NOT need to tell them what it's for. It could be for a cruise to Tahiti. It's not their business. Their responsiblity is to send you the money you are owed.
