    Default steak house

Is there a word in English for the system, in a steak house, in which the many waiters, carrying skewered kinds of meat, wait on people at the tables? Iīve heard "all-you-can-eat", but Iīve been told itīs not really the same.

I've not heard that term used for that kind of service either.

Are you talking about a Brazilian BBQ restaurant?

Hmm. I wonder, at Chophouses do "... many waiters, carrying skewered kinds of meat, wait on people at the tables ... ?

yes, this system is very common in Brazilian restaurants. As I said, Iīve heard "all-you-can-eat", but I donīt know how similar they are....

Well, if you pay one price and get to eat as much as you can, then, yes, it's an all-you-can-eat joint.

Like Soup, the only type of restaurant I'm familiar with where the waitstaff brings endless skewers of beef is what is called a Brazilian-style steak house.

All-you-can-eat restaurants come in all varieties and can be anything from a Chinese buffet to pizza to American-style cuisine (meatloaf, fried chicken, side dishes, etc).
