    Default enquiry / order

Can anybody please proofread my letter? I would very much appreciate any suggestions / corrections. Thank you.

Thank you for being so prompt in sending us some samples of your products as requested, and also for your detailed quotation.

In the meantime, we have tested the samples, and found them of an outstanding quality.

However, your prices seem to be generally 10% higher than those of your non-German competitors. Furthermore, the fluctuation in exchange rates (euro vs pounds) makes it difficult for us to fix a price on a long-term basis

Since the quality of your products has met our requirements more than expected, we are, however, interested in establishing business relations with you.

Therefore, we would like to ask you to reconsider your prices with a view to lowering them. We would suggest you to reduce the prices by 5% and grant us a more generous quantity discount.

If you are prepared to do so, we will be willing to place sizeable orders on a regularly basis with you.
We are sure that this would be beneficial for both of us.

We look forward to receiving your comments on our proposal, and hope to hear from you in the very near future.
