what is the level of certainty or desire for something to happen in the sentence " We hope to live in Eurpoe for six months."
We are waiting for a job offer. We hope to live in Europe for six months.
It depends on you how strong your hope is, and how certain you feel it can happen.
You could specify 'hope' by using intensifiers/adjectives (very much, desperately etc.), or say "There is a faint/slight/frail hope that ... if you are rather unsure.
