- For Teachers
I dont understand the use of the word implication in this sentence can anyone please help me?? Thank you in advance.
"Business are built on relationship." What are the implications for managing the external environment.
That's the sentences and what is the question asking me actually. Thank you all
I've read your sentence a dozen times and still I can't make heads or tails of it (though I am not a teacher).
Could you please privide us any additional info? Any context?
Is this an exam, an article? Who is asking?
Does it come from a reliable Engilsh source?
If your typing is correct, then the person setting this question has poor English. It should be:
Business is built on relationships. (etc)
Within a business, there is managing everything from receipt of an order, how this is processed, the manpower who work for you, getting in stock, shipping, advertising, salesmen etc etc . This is all the environment within the business - the internal environment.
I speak to someone on the phone in Sydney, and arrange to fly to Hong Kong for a business meeting. There is not only regular business going on, but the interpersonal, the relationship aspects. How friendly are they towards me? Do they seem prepared with all the information ready to hand? Do they keep me waiting? Do I feel that my business is important to them, or do I feel they are doing me a favour by just 'fitting me in' to their busy day? etc etc. These are some of the external factors affecting how well your business does, to do with relationships.
