Why young people should eat more fruits and vegetables
The main purpose of this report is to describe what young people eat and how it influences their health.
These days young people usually do not have breakfast. At lunchtime, they prefer fast food restaurants and for dinner pizza or pasta, their favorite meal. And they eat and drink a lot of sweet things during the day. These bad habits in connection with sitting in front of the PC screen all day lead to obesity and other health problems.
The best way for parents to encourage healthy eating in their children is to eat well themselves. Healthy meals contain portions of fruits and vegetables or grains. Schools could also get involved by sending a letter to the parents at the beginning of the school year with a list of unacceptable snacks: cakes, pies, ice cream and potato chips.
Good nutrition and a balanced diet help kids grow up healthy, which is why it is important to persuade young peope to eat more fruits and vegetables.
