    simple question

hi teacher . can any one explane these sentences plz

A cow in the plural is properly kine, but a bow if repeated
    is never called bine.

it seems that this one doesn't make sense. I wonder if anyone can give more explanation.

    Thanks

It looks as if it comes from some kind of comic poem about the illogicality of plurals in English.

The archaic plural for cow was kine

The question is - if c-o-w is pluralized to k-i-n-e, why is b-o-w not pluralized as b-i-n-e

Sometimes, there is a name for a group of items (kine, cattle...), but it is not a rule you can apply to each word you can think of.

That's my two cents since I am not a teacher.

It seems to be taken from Poetic Printshop Past-times
