    AmE vs BrE

    Hello! Dear teachers,

What is the term used for those who work in the Government in the USA, which is equivalent as 'Civil Servant' in the UK?

p.s. I am wondering where Ronbee has gone.

Me too. I hope he returns; we miss him.
I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.

I have spoken to MNY and he has assured me that he will be back to this forum soon. He's just very, very busy at the moment (aren't we all).

I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.
