    Default Phrasal verb

Is 'transfer over' right? I find it redundant. 'Over' seems an extra word. I've been hearing most call center agents saying "I'll transfer you over". Shouldn't it be just "I'll transfer you to (name of department) now."?

Strictly speaking, you don't need 'over'.

I knew it. English in the Philippines should be bettered. These Filipinos often get confused.

Many people who are not native English speakers 'get confused' as you put it, what we should be doing as native speakers, is to help and encourage them, but not to criticize.

What sucks is they are contagious. Since I left the US, I feel like my grammar has been bad. I can't trust anyone besides UsingEnglish (thank God it exists...) when I have questions.

This is really nice. Keep inspiring and encouraging people. Your attitude kinda blew me away. So kind and nice of you, bhaisahab. Take care!
