    art

    Hello everyone,

I'm a little confused with the word "art" in the following sentence, what does it mean there?

Our home had no running water or electricity, no furniture, no wallpaper, no art, no yard with owersójust bare ground and alfalfa.

    Hi KLPNO,
In your sentence art means beautiful objects: beautiful or thought-provoking works produced through creative activity. Hope this helps.
