    Dear bright one

    I am not sure what you mean but the pronunciation of the sound is always the same , accents may differ but sounds are sounds, aren't they!!!

    No, I mean what you have put is mostly, if I am not wrong, associated with British English phonetic symbols. To be more clear, when I search in webster's Dictionary, I found most of them different from what I know or what you put!

    I'mnot quite sure about that, but as far as I remember, Webster is an American dictionary... and Americans prefer doing things their way I mean, many American dictionries do ot use IPA, they created their own phonetic alphabet instead. This may be the case, but somebody should check it..

    Yes, you are right. And because of what you have said that they prefer to show their own way in English I believe there are many sites or such things to represent these sounds!
