    I am writing a letter on behalf of my reporting officer for getting a BP device to TMS.

    I would like to inform you that I had ordered one number of “Omron Blood Pressure Monitor” through www.testsymptomsathome.com. I had made a total payment of $85.94 (which includes shipping charges $25.99), a scanned copy of my order receipt No. 228149 dated 13.06.2008 is attached for your reference.

    Please be noted that I am yet to receive the Blood Pressure device and request you to expedite my order on priority. Please let me know the status of the same.

    The last sentence should read:

    I am happy to inform you that, I received a blood pressure device on Friday, the June 27, 2008 and thank you.



    Please note that I have made a total payment of $85.94 (which includes shipping charges $25.99) to Test Medical Symptoms @ Home, Inc. through my credit card. Wherein at the time of delivery, Department of Posts India has charged additional Rs. 657 ($15.38) as Customs Duty & Warehousing Charges (copy attached).



    I now request you to kindly reimburse the additional charges borne by me on account of freight charges.

    You will not get this money back from the supplying company. It is not part of the cost of freight. It is a charge made on you by your national Customs and Excise, via the postal service, for the import duty and tax and is your responsibility

    You can't use "on account of" in that last sentence. (It is the same as "because of".)

    (As a practical matter, note what Anglika said. (It's a tax.))
