    A old woman

    Cambridge Dictionaries Online - Cambridge University Press

    In this page there is th expression "A old woman". It's a typing mistake, isn't it?

    Yes. It should be an, not a. (The example for the verb herd is A old woman was herding the goats up the mountainside.)

    Not necessarily. It could be an example of how not to use the indefinite article before a vowel.
    The term is incorrect English, however.

    True, but it's a dictionary example.
