    Default something coming on

    Hello

Am I right in thinking that "come on" means "about to happen" in the sentecne:
"I feel a new record coming on".
If so, does it mean the same thing in:
"I feel a breakthrough coming on".
"I sense something bad coming on".

    Thank you in advance.

Bhaisahab, what's the difference between 'coming on' and 'coming up'? On CNN they often say 'We have more news coming up in just a few minutes.'

In many ways they are the same, but we feel something coming on, but we know that something is coming up.
