Default give the reference of XYZ

    Hi,

Is the following sentence correct? Here I want the person to mention in his mail that Roy Adam had pointed him to that job opportunity.

Please send your resume at the address given below and give them the reference of Roy Adam.

    Thanks,

    MG.

I'd write "...and attach a copy of Roy Adam's reference."

    Raymott,

Thanks. Here I wanted to tell the person that in the letter she should mention that Roy Adam had suggested her to apply for the post. Roy Adam has not provided with any written reference.

Given this, how should I reframe the sentence?

You should tell her what you told me. "Please send your resume to the address given below, and mention that Roy Adam has suggested you apply for the post."
