    Default first form vs base form

    Hello all, I am studying CELTA at the mo and have been giving a question - is there a difference between first form and base form and infinative- I know infinitive is To +base form but am unsure if base form and first form are the same any help would be great thanks...

    They're the same. Bare infinitive is also used, just in case you were running short of unneceesary jargon. :mad:
