Arrow Have been mentioned twice for the same subject

In the name of the Merciful Allah,
Hello Hello Hello, in the following quote, shouldn't the writer not to repeat have been twice? read this: These tenets have been drawn from
the Qur'an and, according to some Muslim scholars, have been misapplied, taken out of both historical and cultural context.

There is nothing wrong with that, but you could also say:
These tenets have been drawn from the Qur'an and, according to some Muslim scholars, misapplied and taken out of both historical and cultural context.

So, I understand it is OK to say have been , with more than one verb, more than once for the same subject in the same sentence, or just saying it with the first verb, which could be sufficient.
