    Speaking politely

    Hey!
My boss has asked me to remind him to call somebody next week. I'm not sure how to do that in a formal, polite way. If I want to send him a message can I write "DON'T forget to call Mr. X"? Any better statement?

    Re: Speaking politely

I would be sure to mention that it was his idea for you to remind him.

    Dear Mr. Boss,

As you requested, I am reminding you to call Mr. bla bla bla...

This will prevent you from looking impudent.
