With 'using', I don't think so, but it would take some native speakers for a definitive answer

People can feel uneasy other than by not using their computer- it doesn't take not using a computer to feel uneasy.

tdol, isn't it possible to paraphrase "without using a computer" into "if people don't use a computer"?

Back to the original questions - what makes them feel uneasy - not using their computer or not being able to use their computer? Is it the decision not to do it theirs or has the decision been made for them?

What's the point of your question?

Maybe I did not express my question propperly. What is the peoples' problem - no computer (no hardware and thus no decision to use it or not) or not being able to use it for whatever reason (technical problems, no access, no hookup or a personal decision such as "no forum today").

I think it could be either, or both, depending the entire context.
